Itazura na Kiss
"Mischievous Kiss"
Review by Saikano

It started as a Japanese manga, then a live action show, then a Taiwanese live action show, and FINALLY, it's animated! The story of determined but clueless Kotoko Aihara and brilliant but assholic Naoki Irie proves that love conquers all (or is completely insane)! Thanks to shoddy construction, Kotoko and her father lose their home to an earthquake, and her father's school friends offer them their home – but it happens to be the home of the boy Kotoko confessed to (and got rejected by) earlier! Yep, crazy hijinks and comedic misunderstandings guaranteed! And this is the first time that this unfinished story might have a real ending, thanks to the deceased manga-ka's husband, who shared his wife's thoughts with the animators – definitely something to look forward to!

One day on the roof, Manaka Junpei encounters a really beautiful girl on the roof, she runs away before he even gets the chance to talk to her. His only clue is that she dropped a math book, with the name Toujou Aya. Next day at school he finds Toujou Aya and finds out she's the exact opposite of that girl he met on the rooftop, there’s no way it can be her, can it? ~ so this story line begins. It keeps adding and adding, girls. Couple, triangle, quadangle, pentangle and is there a 5th girl for Junpei? Plus you add in the sexiest teacher in his new high school as the Film Club advisor.

Initial D
review by Takahashi Ryousuke
High school student, Fujiwara Takumi has been doing the family delivery of tofu to the hotel at the top of Mount Akina every morning for the past 4 years. What he doesnt know, is that it is his fathers specialized training to be a racer. Using his fathers Hachi Roku(Toyota Corolla GTS in the US) he begins to gain incredible technique, and then gets a chance encounter with Takahashi Keisuke's FD and it awakens his passion for driving. Initial D is now in it's fourth "stage", three of them being TV series, and one of them, "Third Stage" a movie. Lot of good storyline, not only with the racing, but with the character growth from beginning to end.
